Where have we spent your donated funds?

Through the generous support of the community, monies raised throughout the year are used to purchase equipment and provide programs to enhance everyday patient care and comfort to the patients and residents in the hospital and Peace Villa. In the last 5 years, (2021-2025) the Auxiliary has contributed over $261,000 to the benefit of facility staff, patients, residents and their families. Some of our significant purchases include:

  • Slide Bronchoscope to diagnose and treat lung conditions
  • Various styles of Broda and Staxi wheelchairs, all serving various needs (rigid, transition to prone position, bariatric, indoor/outdoor, featherlight, etc.)
  • Tilt commodes to assist patients/residents to stand from sitting position
  • Replacement TVs for Peace Villa rooms. (There are over 125 rooms in PV)
  • Two heated food cabinets to ensure hot meal delivery
  • Bladder Scanner to diagnose conditions through ultrasound
  • 75” Mobile TV and cabinet entertainment system for Peace Villa Residents to improve viewing and ability to participate in activities from multiple locations
  • Relocation and upgrades to Memorial Rose Garden in anticipation of future
  • expansion of Peace Villa
