We are a non-profit volunteer organization contributing over 3000 hours of volunteer service to the Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa Residential Care facilities annually.
What do we do?
- Operate the gift shop in the main lobby from 10-3 on week days (Monday-Friday. Closed on Stat holidays)
- Own and stock the six vending machines, as well 2 coffee machines and 4 snack machines, within the Hospital.
- Manage and maintain the Memorial Rose Garden behind the Peace Villa along the walking path. Family and friends may purchase a Memorial Brick in honour of a loved one at the Auxiliary Gift Shop.
- Award two (2) $2000 bursaries, and one (1) $5000 scholarship – Margaret Miller Scholarship – annually.
- Maintain and manage donations to the Memorial Wall located in the Cafeteria.
- Raise money through gift shop and vending machines sales to help the hospital, by purchasing equipment and running programs for the care and comfort of patients
